This small jungle stream provides all the water used in the town of Kalu Yala. As we hike along this picturesque little piece of paradise we get to see first-hand how and off-the-grid water system functions. As you can see from the pictures, it requires a lot of maintenance and upkeep. This short hike is a great chance to get a glimpse of true jungle while learning more about how people have always lived in this valley. We will be hiking directly up a tributary, be prepared to get wet!
