Monkey Beer Loop Trail Overnight
Dates: February 10-11, 2018
Join us on an unbelievable overnight hiking adventure on the Alto de Pacora Loop Trail! This guided hike conquers 15 miles of beautiful Jungle scenery around the Tres Brazos Valley. See the Pacific Ocean and the Caribbean islands of San Blas from the central mountain ridgeline of Panama. Camp with our friendly neighbors in a tiny community overlooking the Chagres National Park.
An optional Backpacking 101 class is available the evening prior to departure. This class will be held at 5pm on Thursday, February 8th at Kalu Yala.
Snacks and simple meals will be provided for the group. Make sure to pack a minimum of 2 or 3 liters of water for the first day of hiking! Tents will also be provided for the group, but participants should bring their own backpack. Backpack rentals can be arranged if needed.

Sunday Bruce Day Carnival Party
Optional "Bruce Day" Brunch on Sunday, February 11 at the Rio costs an additional $50, and includes two alcoholic beverages, an all-day riverside cookout party, and a ride back to Kalu Yala on Bruce the Deuce!

Why is it called the Monkey Beer Loop?
There is a small tienda with a pet monkey near the campsite in Alto de Pacora to purchase additional snacks and drinks...including BEER!
